UiPath, the first Romanian ”Decacorn”

UiPath is the first Romanian ”Decacorn” - the leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, founded by Romanian entrepreneurs Daniel Dines and Marius Tirca, announced that it closed a USD 225 million Series E investment round and reached a valuation of over $10 billion.

The Romanian company will use this funding to deepen its investment in research and development and focus on hrlping customers deliver a better customer experience so employees worldwide can use, and also experience optimal value from software robots.

At the beginning of 2020, UiPath was recognized as the fastest-growing technology company in the Americas according to FT Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020, and the number one fastest-growing company in North America based on Deloitte’s 2019 Technology Fast 500 list.
