Imani Silver Kyaruzi

Imani is an Entrepreneurship and Economic Development analyst. He obtained his PhD in Economic Geography and Entrepreneurship from the University of Birmingham in 2006. His research focused on Business incubation and Clustering - local economic growth in Developing countries. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Birmingham City University and a BA (Hons) major in HRM from Wolverhampton University. He teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in Entrepreneurship and Research methods. His works on entrepreneurship and local economic growth have been published in English and Swahili.

He is a Senior Lecturer in International Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development at QA Higher Education – University of Ulster (Birmingham and London Campuses). Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship – Belgrade Faculty of Business Economics, Employment and Entrepreneurship. He is an Associate Member of the Higher Education Academy.
